Glitter Eyeliner: 6 ways

Recently on a impromptu trip to Superdrug (always a bad idea!) I found myself with two products that counted towards a 3 for 2 offer, so needed to pick something up to seal the deal. For some reason I found myself very much drawn to some glitter eyeliner, and before I knew it I was at the till, glitter eyeliner in hand.
Since then, I have been playing around with my new purchase, working out the best ways to use and wear it, so I thought I would do a post showing you the 6 ways I have been wearing this product.
The eyeliner I have been using, if you fancy getting your hands on it, is the Collection Glam Crystals Gel Eyeliner in the shade ‘Funk 3’. They do also do a few other shades which I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up in my collection (pun very much intended) soon. 1) Glitter Eyeliner: As the name of the product is literally ‘eyeliner’, my first method of application was to use it to do my wing. My favourite way to do this is as a thin line on top of my normal black liner, though a full glitter wing looks amazing too, especially on top of a slightly darker eye shadow look.
2) Define Cut Crease A really nice way to use glitter eyeliner is to put a small line just where the crease has been cut within a cut crease. This helps to define and separate the two components, as well as helping to hide any lack of definition within the look.
3) Glitter Cut Crease
This a classic ‘instagram’ look, which is often done with pressed or loose glitter. However, using a glitter liner instead decreases the mess, as well as giving you much more control over where the glitter is. This can work for both full and half cut creases, as well as if you just want a glitter lid colour.
4) Inner Corner
This is an amazing look for when you want to fulfil that glitter craving (Don’t lie, we all get it!) but don’t want anything too ‘in your face’. It requires almost no effort whatsoever, but can really bring some excitement and glam to an otherwise fairly standard look.
5) Under Eye
This is one that I admittedly do not wear as much as the others, but that does not take away from the fact that this is a really cool, slightly different look. I find this can be really useful if you’ve gone very heavy and dark on the lid, but don’t want to go full on smoky by doing the same on the bottom. Using glitter instead on the bottom really helps to bring some brightness and sparkle to the look.
6) Cheekbone
Finally, the classic festival look. What I love about this is that if you are at a festival, you do not want to be using a loose glitter inside your tent, so this is a lot more handy and mess free. I will often do this paired with the inner corner glitter, and I love the way it looks.
So, there you have it. Six different ways to wear glitter eyeliner. I hope this has been helpful and if you don’t already own a glitter eyeliner, you will want to now. Please let me know which look was your favourite, and if you want a more in-depth tutorial/explanation to any of these looks just let me know! I hope to see you all on my next post! Judanna xo *PS – I would just like to apologise for the state of my eyebrows in some of these photos! After looking at the pictures I did immediately go and pluck them, and some of these were taken after a full day at school so the brows were definitely looking a bit worse for wear!*
